Seems like clones in a language different from English become more and more popular.

Good if You know a lot of languages, or just pay someone to translate.

Anyways, great work. You had the idea first, so what do I ramble about this?

I actually like it. I've seen plenty of Digg clones in the past few months of browsing on the internet. However I'm liking the nice simplicity of the site, so I've bookmarked the site for future use. :)

Nice simple layout. Although I'm not Filipino, I can appreciate the time it takes to build sites like yours and build a community.

Why Linux is getting better

Sunday 02. of December 2007

Ok, ok, I admit first that it depends on the use. But for desktop performance it surely has improved its foothold against the famous software monopoly that we have today. Have you seen the Asus EEE pc? By default it's built with linux pre-installed, although there are some geeks who switched it...

This is a short tutorial I compiled after making it work at my first workplace, a web development environment where there is always a problem with people overwriting files of other programmers.

Organizing thoughts and ideas with kde basket

Thursday 19. of July 2007

I used to organize my ideas with simple text files and sometimes memo records from a pda. Soon I got a Moleskine organizer but the results were the same with both approaches, all of my stuff are still all over the place. Written ideas are great in a simple paper pad and pen/pencil but there are time...

Monday 25. of June 2007

These are a few free screencast applications for Linux and Windows. I highly recommend wink as it is cross platform, easy to use and can save to many different formats. RecordMyDesktop is also nice, but it saves only to open formats like theora for video and vorbis for audio. Camstudio is for window...

Warcraft3 in Linux (Ubuntu Feisty + wine)

This is a very short tutorial on how to run Warcraft3 with Ubuntu (at least how I made it work): Prerequisite: - drivers for 3d acceleration (nvidia or ati's)

1. Install wine

Review: MSI S425 Laptop

Wednesday 16. of May 2007

My desktop is getting old ... around 3+ years worth of regular use. It has to be replaced soon. Which brings me to purchase on installment an MSI S425. It's the cheapest laptop with nvidia video I could find. All the rest are ATI (poor linux support), they're mostly out of stock anyway. To be ab...

The Japanese government looks to go open source

Wednesday 16. of May 2007

The Japanese government wants to go open source, as a way to rely less on a single vendor IT software infrastructure. And plenty of vendors are lining up to help make this happen.

typo.script.auclo.us

Wednesday 09. of May 2007

"The first beta version of typo.script.aculo.us is available for download." - site. Just tried it today. Very nice extension, I was able to create cool content fadings & other interesting javascript effects. Too many effects can slow down the site though for those using slower pc's. No set...
