Pinoguin.com started late 2006 as a small freelance, web hosting site and a personal web blog of the owner Elijah O. Alcantara. Initially planned as a simple web hosting portal, the freelance work became too demanding that he is forced to do the work full-time. The small-time operation then grew as a domain seller and is now capable of providing a wide variety of web development and server administrative services. As time passes, Pinoguin started gathering freelance talents to provide great quality work at the fastest time and lowest cost.

In 2010, Pinoguin started building e-commerce sites and is also now officially registered as a legal business entity residing in the Philippines.
